Come show Walt some love!
As you may know, we lost an extremely talented local musician and friend, Walt Redmond Jr., on April 7th. I’m honored that I’ve been asked to perform at a benefit for his children on Sunday, May 10th 2008. I’ll be sharing the stage with a veritable who’s who in Hampton Roads music all in an effort to honor Walt and help support the children he left behind. The Last Waltz, as the event has been dubbed, will be held at Sadde Ridge in Hampton. Directions are available by clicking on the show on the band calendar. The show starts at 3pm and there is a $10 minimum donation at the door. Performers include: Butter, Snackbar Jones, Fine Swiss Cheese, Hey Hey Hooligan, Krunch, Walt Redmond Sr., Borderline Crazy, Crazy X, Vinyl Headlights, East Coast Rockers, Excess Baggage, Soul Patch, Super Glue, Brad Street, John Harrell, Eric & Baggett, Don Butcher, Suzy-Ray-Vaughn, Plastic Eddie, Tim Morgan, Brian Sewell, and open mic performances from 4-6:30pm.
